An airplane carrying 120 migrant workers from Qujing, Southwest China's Yunnan province landed in Wuxi, East China's Jiangsu province on Jan 27, local media reported.
It was the first charted airplane in the province this year to bring back migrant workers, who spent the seven-day Spring Festival holiday at their hometown.
"It is the first time that I have traveled by air," said 45-year-old Liu Yuzhi whose family members all work in Wuxi. "I felt at ease as there were always airline workers telling me how to check in and where to find my seat."

It is also the first time that Xiao Mingzhou and Li Xiuping have worked in Wuxi and they expressed gratitude to city authorities for their considerate arrangement.
"The chartered airplane provided by the Wuxi human resources and social security bureau helped alleviate our labor shortage," added Zhu Rende, general manager of Wuxi Jingyuntong Technology Co Ltd.
Zhu said that due to increased orders, the company still operated during the Spring Festival holiday and workers took turns to take their vacation.
To ensure that local businesses had enough workers after the holiday, the Wuxi human resources and social security bureau sent charted buses, trains, and airplanes to bring back migrant workers from their hometowns.
According to the bureau, Wuxi inked a labor cooperation agreement with Qujing in 2020 and about 3,100 people from Qujing currently work in the city.
Local authorities will also dispatch officials to Yibin, Sichuan province, Bijie, Guizhou, and Lianyungang, Jiangsu to help migrant workers return to Wuxi.
They have also launched job fairs both online and onsite providing more than 100,000 jobs from over 2,000 local enterprises.
