        Mashan subdistrict in Binhu district, Wuxi has been growing taro for more than 1,000 years. The vegetable recently hit the market.

        Mashan-grown taro, featuring a soft taste and delightful aroma, can be made into both desserts and dishes.

        The easiest way to prepare taro is steaming. After being steamed for 30 minutes, the taro can be dipped into sugar.
