Tourist attractions in Wuxi, East China's Jiangsu province, have revealed their celebration plans for the upcoming Mid-Autumn Festival, which falls on Sept 10 this year.
Yuantouzhu Island, or Turtle Head Isle, will stage a 20-minute firework show and an immersive light show that day.

In ancient Huishan town, visitors can admire various types of lanterns on Xiuzhang and Qinyuan streets, take part in a Moon Palace parade, and enjoy delicious food. They can also solve lantern riddles and try their hands at making moon-shaped fans and clay figurines.

The Plum Garden will hold a lightshow called Memory of the Plum Garden from Sept 10 to Nov 10, featuring five huge art installations.

Visitors can make mooncakes and wind chimes and take a boat tour of the Lihu Lake scenic area while enjoying the firework show at nearby Yuantouzhu Island scenic area.

While summer fair nights have ended at Wuxi Zoo, visitors still can watch circus shows and make animal-shaped mooncakes during the Mid-Autumn Festival holiday.
