The Qingming Bridge Historic and Cultural Block in Wuxi, East China's Jiangsu province, was recently added to the list of national nighttime culture and tourism consumption zones.
Located in Liangxi district, the block is built along the Grand Canal and has more than 200 cultural and historic buildings at the national, provincial and municipal levels.
By making full use of its rich cultural and tourism resources, the block has become the most popular nighttime tourist destination in Wuxi.

On the block, tourists can visit cultural venues and remains, watch performances, try making the city's intangible cultural heritage items, including clay figurines and Wuxi cuisine, and shop for creative and cultural products.
They can also admire the city's nighttime scenery by boat, enjoy delicious local delicacies, or take a walk along the Grand Canal.

Over the past three years, the Qingming Bridge block has organized more than 220 activities attended by over 50 million people.
In 2021, the block received 26.41 million tourists, up 16 percent year-on-year, including more than 19.54 million tourists visiting the block at nighttime, and its operating revenue experienced a 9 percent year-on-year increase.
