February and March are the ideal time to admire plum blossoms in Wuxi. Every year, a number of local residents and visitors from surrounding cities visit the city's Plum Garden to enjoy the beautiful and fragrant flowers in late winter.
The Wuxi Plum Garden has 400 species of plum tree on the mountain and more than 10,000 plum trees throughout the garden.
The annual plum blossom cultural tourism festival, which will run until March 13, features many unique bonsai, flower arrangement works, and cultural tourism products.
According to workers at the garden, this year's plum tree flowering season will last longer than usual due to low temperatures in recent days. Late plums will continue to bloom until mid-March.
